Jewish Videos With Captions

Captions provide access to the Jewish content videos that hearing people take for granted. Without captions, people with a hearing loss are excluded.

The Jewish Captioning Initiative promote captioning on videos with Jewish content to allow access for people who are deaf or hard of hearing. Over 28 million Americans are considered among this population (www.NCRA.org). About 2 percent of adults ages 45 to 54 have a disabling hearing loss. The rate increases to 8.5 percent for adults aged 55 to 64 (nidc.nih.gov).
